2024 Nissan GTR Redesign
The front of the concept looks like a modernized version of the R34’s face, with a more “wraparound” look and improved proportions.
The boxy headlights feature more modern LED graphics, the bumper has larger intakes and a splitter reminiscent of the 2024 Nissan GTR tuned from the past, and the hood has large vents that aid aerodynamics.
Its profile is much closer to that of the outgoing R35, with very similar greenhouse and familiar dynamic lines. It does carry the feel of the R34 with its boxy rear fender, but overall it looks like it could be based on a slightly modified version of the chassis.
The Ray TE37’s six-spoke alloy wheels are finished in black, matching the carbon fiber sections around the bodywork and contrasting the silver finish.
Blue accents on the splitter, intake, brake calipers, side sills, and diffuser bring a colorful twist to the rendering. The tail is probably the cleanest and most successful part of the design. The shape, size, and position of the dual round LED taillights are reminiscent of the older R33 generation, although the turbine-style LED graphics are more similar to the R34 and R35.
The bumper has a large diffuser with dual exhausts and F1-style brake lights. The swan-neck rear wing has an aftermarket styling, with an additional roof spoiler above the rear windshield. Last but not least, the roof appears to be made of carbon fiber and has a double-bubble design.
We don’t have pictures of the interior, but we can see two bucket seats painted blue with the R badge and right-hand drive configuration. There’s also room at the back for a 2+2 cab layout, although like on the R35, we didn’t want to sit in the back.
The project is limited to the styling aspect of the 2024 Nissan GTR, so it doesn’t include details on the technical side. Electrification seems inevitable for the next-generation Godzilla which can swap the V6 for a cleaner hybrid powertrain while retaining all-wheel-drive capability.
The electric motor will certainly increase the sports car’s power output, bringing it closer to the supercar-killer status that the current generation had when it premiered in 2007.
