2024 Nissan Z the combination of price and unmatched performance at 287 horsepower for less than $27,000 has made Nissan a serious sports car maker.
The basic layout features two seats, rear-wheel drive, and a six-speed manual transmission. The 400 horsepower reportedly will also come with the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6.
The 2024 Nissan Z appears to be built on a heavily modified version of the current FM platform and rides on the same 100.4-inch wheelbase as the previous 370Z using the VR30DDTT V-6 of the Infiniti Red Sport 400 model.
Making 400 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 350 pound-feet of torque from 1600 to 5200 rpm, this sweet 3.0-liter engine features direct injection and variable valve timing that delivers up to 14.7 psi of boost.
Manual models get a carbon fiber driveshaft, EXEDY performance clutch, and automatic rev-matching in downshifts, while the Zs with the nine-speed automatic transmission has aluminum paddle shifters and available launch controls.

Finally, the new 2024 Nissan Z is just around the corner. The first drive for journalists is coming, customer deliveries shouldn’t be far behind, and eventually, we’ll know if it lives up to its name. But just when we thought our curiosity would be satisfied.
Discovered by the Z1 Motorsports Facebook page, the short clip shows the new generation 2024 Nissan Z with a much more aggressive body kit and wings. The tires also look wider and quite sticky. Even the exhaust as it passes seems a little louder than we’d expect from an everyday sports car.
The situation made it even more strange. We’re not sure who runs the R Gelan YouTube channel, where the video was posted, but it would be weird if Nissan ran a development mule on an open track day where people outside the company could see it. Had the car been publicly available, we’d have assumed this was just a modified example, but to our knowledge, the only Nissan Z 2023 currently available is in the automaker’s own hands.
That leaves few options. This could be the new Nismo variant of the Z, designed for fans who are more track-focused. Given that Nissan makes Nismo versions of the GT-R and 370Z, that’s no exaggeration, but the fitting of the wheels that fit into their wheel holes doesn’t scream “street car” to me. Another theory is that this is a development mule for the racing version of the Z, which seems pretty plausible. Then again, it could be a tuning company working directly with Nissan, working on aftermarket performance options for the car.

2024 Nissan Z Nismo Unofficial Concept Sports
According to a carving written by ANDREI TUTU. Even with the 2024 Nissan Z fully unveiled and officially unveiled back in January at the Tokyo Auto Salon, there is still no official confirmation of a production/market arrival schedule (more on this below). Then there are rumors of a more capable version of the Nismo that will push the twin-turbo 3.0L V6 shared with Infiniti past the 400 hp output of the standard car. Having resurfaced in 2018, this unofficial talk has also included AWD in the feature list for the Nismo.
Unfortunately, these rumors only raise more questions: will the GT-R, which is coming out, stay on the sidelines for a while as the AWD arguably covers its market segment? Will the front axle be driven by an electric motor?
Coming back to the Supra comparison, this seems to demand a Nismo iteration of the new Z. We’ll remind you that Toyota, which has gifted its sports car with a BMW turbo-four, an option not available at Nissan, at least up to this point, is rumored to be working on a more powerful Supra GRMN. The newcomer will land next year as the 2024 model, sporting the BMW M3/M4 S58 twin-turbo 3.0L inline-six engine, which should bring the game to around 500 horsepower.

The last time we covered one of his adventures, the Z and the Supra had gone the drag car route, pitting them on the strip. This time, however, Li is introducing a conversion that seems rooted in the DNA of the Z car’s Nismo, hence the Nismo label we used for the project—note that the 2023 Z uses an updated platform from its predecessor 370Z, which, in turn, is based on the early 2000’s 350Z. an.
Unlike the Supra Mk V, whose design has been criticized for being busy and packing fake vents, the new Z features a clean appearance with a retro influence.
Well, this particular example packs a high-mounting rear wing reminiscent of the various iterations of Nismo the 350Z and 370Z enjoyed (you’ll get two 350Zs and one 370Z at the end of the image gallery).
And while the rear grille and wide, tastefully restrained body seem a bit over the top even for the fictional 2024 Nissan Z Nismo, it could come as an official accessory—a growing number of automakers are looking to capitalize on aftermarket interest for their fast engines and expand their accessory offerings today.
2024 Nissan Z Models
The Z Sport gets the same powertrain as the other Zs, along with an adjustable 12.3-inch TFT instrument display, fabric seats with synthetic suede inserts, and a full cadre of safety sitters and driver assistance kits that every self-respecting Z driver wins. do not need it.

Performance replaces the 18-inch Sport wheels with lightly forged 19-inch Rays wheels sporting Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires, 255s up front and 275s at the rear. In addition to the unique alloy wheels and brake calipers painted red, the Performance trim is visually distinguished by the front and rear spoilers and dual exhausts. The automatic launch control function is also limited to the Performance model.
On top of the Performa, and essentially functioning as a launch edition, the Proto Spec is a Z Performa sporting the Z Proto concept car’s color scheme—yellow paint, black roof, bronze alloy wheels, and yellow brake calipers.

Displaying the rated turbine speed, the turbo tach will tell the driver whether the turbo is just lazing at a steady 220,000 rpm or close to a maximum of 240,000 rpm. Other captions for past Zs include taillights (a 1990s Z32 300ZX feel) and a basic long hood, with short deck proportions.
